Just wanted to write to say how easy your site was, how happy I was to find my Pro Scan remote, and how satisfied I was with the service, delivery and
product I received. You're the best and I will use you in the future.

Thanks for ordering the remote for my out-of-date Teac receiver. It's much better than any universal one, and it's perfect. I've recommended your website to two friends already.
Howard C.
Thank you so much! The testimonials about your service are all so true.
Thanks again, Denise
Thanks to your website, I was able to reboot my remote and, for the time being, save some money. Thank you very much for providing this valuable service.
Virginia N.
Thank you. I received the remote in a timely fashion and it was the right one.

Thanks guys, the remote I received from you last week for my JVC camcorder works great. It came in two days. I got the camcorder used on eBay and it had one button for on/off only. I took a
chance and ordered that full remote from you. I'm happy!
Bob C.
You have no idea how much we appreciated when our original remote control worked once again. Thank you! And just as your previous customers, we have you as the number one favorite site and
will return if we need to purchase any of the products that you carry.
Ruthie T.
Just a note to say thanks for the tip on rebooting a dead remote. I had a JVC HR-DX22U remote that went on the fizz for no adequately explained reason. Your tip restored it.
Thank you, Greg N.
I do not know if a new remote will fix my problem, but I was delighted to find a place that provided this service. I found your contact number, and the really great customer service allowed
me to order over the phone. I only wish I knew about you sooner. I could have saved a lot of time looking for something I was sure did not exist. I am glad I discovered you and will
definitely tell all of my friends. Thanks again and a special thanks to your customer service personnel. She was very helpful, and seemed to know how to circumvent all of my problems.

I was looking online to replace my JVC remote control LP 20303-008 without any luck when I came across your article, "Dead Remotes Can Be Saved". Well I tried your "Re-Boot" directions and
it worked! Thank you for printing this information. I printed the directions out (with your E-mail address and 1-800 number) and will keep it with my VCR instructions. When the remote
finally dies, I will call you first. Thanks again for your help. I'll be spreading positive information about Remote Support, Inc.

Just wanted to thank you folks for the great service in finding a remote for my TV (mine got lost in moving). The remote came in today's mail and I just ordered it 2 days ago. Thank you so
much! Works great.
Sincerely, June N.
Thanks for the quick service!

You guys are so cool. I tried your tips for
reviving a dead remote...and they worked!! Your desire to give good
service screwed you out of a $52+ sale. I really admire that. Thanks. If I ever need a remote, you've got the business.

THANK YOU for GETing the remote auxiliary codes on your web site. I just
reprogrammed an older remote for someone with serious back problems, for whom
the act of GETting up to change channels or turn the VCR on or off causes real pain.
I searched quite a while before finding your site and the codes. Be assured that if
and when I need a replacement remote,
I'll be back to your site!
Thanks again and happy holidays.

Incredible....I was in a panic....my NEC remote
control for a TV that has been out of production for a few years decided to go
on strike. I was looking on the internet to try to find a new one (NEC
can't even remember this TV!) and I found your site. I was fascinated by
your instructions to bring a remote back from the grave....I thought, "Oh sure -
this can't possibly work." Well --- I was wrong! It worked!
Thanks again. I'll remember your site the next time one of my many remotes
throws a tantrum.

Dear 1-800-Remotes,
Just a quick not to say, "Thank you" for all the help
with questions I had with my purchase! You made it easy to find the remote
for my TV, I thought I would never be able to find it without paying an arm and
a leg.
Again, Thanks!!!!

I am a military service member stationed
overseas. My 8-year old RCA universal remote control recently quit
working. I went to the RCA website to order a replacement remote, but
could not do so because the will not accept PO Boxes or military
addresses. I found your site and noticed your instructions on repairing a
dead remote by pushing every button. I tried it, and it worked!
Thank you for the valuable information. Most places I've visited would not give
out information that could prevent someone from ordering from them. In the
future, I will check your website for my remote control needs.

Hi,
I recently placed an order for a replacement remote
and just wanted to comment on the excellent service I received. The person
on the other end of the phone was most helpful in finding a remote that would
work for my old TV since the original was no longer available. I received
the remote in just a few days and it works great.
Thanks for being so prompt and courteous.

I just wanted to say thanks for making finding the
right remote so easy! I've ordered one remote from ya'll, and fixed a
"dead" VCR remote thanks to your instructions! I tell people about your
website all the time, and recommend it to anyone who has troubles with their
remotes.
Thanks so much,

Wow! I got my remote today! I don't know
how you did it, the manufacturer said it had been discontinued, but I received
an exact model of my Sansui remote...not the substitute! Thank you so
much!!!!!
You guys are the greatest!

Our JVC remote died recently and we were not
satisfied with universal units. We were given your URL, by a local TV
shop, as an OE source. Checking your web site, I noted the DEAD REMOTE key
and applied the procedure with good results. Therefore I want to thank you
for the GOOD NEIGHBOR you are and if/when the remote dies again will come back
to purchase a new unit from you.
Again, THANKS and Best Regards,
Ron

Just wanted to say thank you for your honesty.
I had a dead remote and followed your instructions in bring it back to
life. And it worked! Most companies wouldn't have bothered to tell
me that little trick. I'm bookmarking your site in case I really need a
remote or anything else.

Dear Good Folks @ remotes.com,
We were referred to you by a neighborhood store that
sells electronic equipment. They said you were the place to purchase a
replacement remote. When we logged on your site and browsed awhile we came
upon the "Dead Remote?" link that let us to the discovery of how we might
"re-boot" the original remote. Following your simple and easy instructions
we were able to "re-boot" our remote and now it works like new. Thank you
ever so much. When we need to purchase a remote at some point in the
future, we will be contacting you. In the meantime, we will tell our
friends about remotes.com.

Your "rebooting" tip on how to save a seemingly dead
remote just saved me $80.00!! Wow! Thanks very much. In the
future, (and with children you know there will be a future), when I need a
remote I'll be sure to buy it from 1-800-REMOTES.

Hello,
I dumped a coke on my Direct TV remote control and
thought it was a lost cause. A clerk at Circuit City suggested I call
1-800-Remotes. I decided to locate your company online. And I am
glad and impressed that I did. I was ready to order a remote thinking I had
no alternative. Instead I followed the steps you gave regarding pushing
all the buttons on the remote. Guess what?? It worked and I am now
surfer-able again. I admire your ethics in supplying this information to
customers. In this day of business practices, you are to be
commended. And I so do. Be assured, if I or anyone I know ever does
need a remote, your company will be the only one I use or recommend. Again -
job well done!!!
Sincerely,

WOW!!! I've been living with a partially dead
Sony remote (RM-Y119, FYI) for over a year now. Some of the buttons
functioned, but I couldn't GET to the menu for the TV's specific
functions... Thanks a billion! I used your reboot procedures, and
YAHOO! everything works again. I'll definitely bookmark your page in my
browser, and refer any friends who have problems to your web site. I don't
know how much money you save me, but I'm very grateful.

To Remote and Manual Service,
Just a note to thank you for your prompt
service. I called on Tuesday and our new remote arrived on Monday, and we
are happy again. Can't tell you what an annoyance it is not to have a mute
button. We mute out all commercials!
Thanks again,

I want to tell you how much I appreciate your website
and advice. We own a 10 year old Toshiba TV, and our remote failed
tonight. I tried everything I had in the past, but no luck. Tried
new batteries, tried different button combinations...nothing. I was
searching for a new remote to replace it, but the good old CT-9668 is no longer
available. Not only is it NLA, it's replacement is also NLA. I even
tried eBay for a used or new remote. We were shopping around for a
CT-9725CR when I found your "Is your remote dead?" page and tried the reboot
process. AMAZING! It worked and you saved me anywhere from $28 to
almost $50 (plus shipping). Thank you thank you thank you. Good job
and I appreciate your expertise.

I was thrilled to find your website. I have
ordered my first remote and plan to order an additional one. I have a

Thanks! Your instructions on how to revive a dead
remote worked for us. Our then 3 month old, 35 pound Black Labrador puppy
chewed it up. Since this was a month ago (and he's closer to 55 pounds
now!) I've tried on an almost daily basis to replace or repair it. Being
stationed in Japan with the US Navy doesn't help...found your website this
Sunday morning through Findwhat.com, and viola! we can now watch our month old
DVD/Home Theater System again.
Thanks again,

Dear Sir or Madam:
I would like to express my appreciation for your
prompt delivery of a good remote for my older VCR. When I called that I
still had the same problem, the person that took the call, Bob, was very helpful
in wringing out the problem. He was very friendly and knowledgeable in
helping me find a solution.
Thank you,

Many thanks for your hints and assistance in
"reviving" my Toshiba CT9668. Your procedures worked to a "T". I had
the sinking feeling that I would have to replace it. I certainly will keep
you in mind for future sales potential or service.

I just got off the phone with a dear lady who
suggested a way to fix a Toshiba CT 9670 for which there is yet no good sub. for
less than $100.00. She said push all the buttons, etc. IT WORKED!
Thanks.
You're nice people.

I was searching for a new remote when I found your

but your easy steps saved me.

Thank you so much for the "Is your remote dead?"
section. I just purchased a lost remote for my car, and decided to check
on a remote for my old stereo. I've been hanging on to the one that was
broken for years, with no idea how to GET it fixed or where to find a
replacement. I just tried your suggestion, and pushed every button, put in
new batteries, and WOW!!
Thank you so much,

I followed the "Dead Remote? Maybe Not!" directions
on your site and guess what, my JVC VCR controller is working again. Thanks
for putting this set of instructions on the site. I was ready to order a
new controller. Now it's working again and I don't need to order a new one
but you can bet I'll let other know about your site and
services/products. It's wonderful to find a vendor who can bring a "smile" to
a customer.
Thanks,
Vic

Greetings,
I went to your website, www.remotes.com, because my remote
control went dead after buying the unit only 60 days ago. I read your
column on troubleshooting remote controls by removing batteries and pressing
each key once, etc., and it worked! Although it took several tries, I was
successful in GETting the remote to work again.
Thanks for GETing such information on the site because I did not know
that you can "reboot" a remote control.
Sincerely,
Pete Y.

Just had to write to say thanks. I thought my
remote was dead, but amazingly enough your "reboot" procedure worked on
it. I'm going to continue to wonder why.
Thanks!
